Clube de Ténis do Porto 2020


Clube de Ténis do Porto are proud announce the 3rd edition of the ITF Future Series Wheelchair International Tournament.

The tournament will be held at Clube de Ténis do Porto from 9th to 12th July.

This is an international tournament that features some of the best players in the world. The atmosphere is friendly yet competitive and carries a prize money of USD$ 5.000.

The tournament will be played on Clay courts with entries open for both Men & Women, Singles & Doubles.

Last years competition was in September and was also held at Clube de Ténis do Porto.

North American Casey Ratzlaff, 25th in the ITF ranks, triumphed in the men's competition,  defeating his opponent, the world No. 20, Polands own Kamil Fabisiak in just two sets by 6-1 and 6-3.

In the women's competition, Japan's Shiori Funamizu was the winner, currently 20th in the world hierarchy. She faced a very tough opponent, Great Britain's Louise Hunt, but even so, Funamizu triumphed with a double 6-4.

Joining forces, Fabisiak and Ratzlaff won the doubles competition, defeating in the final Anker and Cukker, 6-2 and 6-2.
